Grade 2 listed property window refurbishment and kitchen design
Our clients at Ickenham Manor needed two windows replacing in the same style as the originals plus the kitchen was in need of refurbishment. The kitchen presented certain contraints, the design needed to take into account a cieiling with large exposed beams and herring-bone brick flooring, plus and existing Aga and Victorian sideboard. The extractor had to be disguised above the hob and a number of surface mounted pipes had to be hidden behind boxing in the corner of the kitchen. The kitchen needed to reflect the style of the property, yet house modern appliances. Quarter sawn oak was selected which displays interesting medalory rays, creating a contemporary yet timeless environment.
